Here we are...
This is the only known picture of all five of us together. This was Tokyo orientation before we went to teach, a long time ago, August 4, 2004.
Sadly, Alaina has fallen from us. She left back for home in December. We will pour liquor down the drain for her in remembrance.
Last August, Beth and her daughter, Katie left us as well, to return back to the states and pursue an awfully big adventure.
Aaron is sticking around, too, but not as a JET. He got hired full time by his Board of Education.
And that will leave Rachel and I to bitch-slap Japan for another year and a half (at least), because Rachel extended her contract! Yeah!
If you're wondering who we are, don't worry. So are we. Fact is, some of us still can't figure out how we managed to become so close so fast while so far apart. But here we are and I'm not one to look a gift horse in the mouth just yet.
